The following is an exhaustive set of FAQs we have compiled to help you find answers to any queries you may have about our products and other related topics about buying them.

If you want to cancel your order, the first thing you would be required to do is to contact us. We will strive to ensure your order is canceled with minimum hassle.

Sometimes we may be unable to process your request for order cancelation immediately. This happens usually in the event that the package has already been shipped by us by the time we receive your cancellation request. In that case we contact our courier to have the package returned to our warehouse once it reaches its geographic destination or, if possible, from a transit location if any. In such a situation we will not be able to process and complete the cancellation request till the package has been returned duly to our warehouse.

Unfortunately, you will not be able to change your order. As per our policy, an order cannot be changed once a product and quantity of product has been selected.

A feasible alternative in such a situation would be to get in touch with us immediately and cancel the order if it is incorrect or not as per your requirements. Once you have canceled the order, you can place a fresh order on our website at your convenience.

If you order a watch with us from the product page on our website, you get a strap or wristband along with the watch face.

  • You also have the option of buying additional straps or wristbands on our website to complement your watch order. To do this:
    • Go to the Accessories page of our website.
    • Click on the wristband or strap of your choice.

And if you desire, you can pick up other additional accessories to go with the watch as well. Do take time to browse through our site and find accessories that you like and that match your watch.

We take every step possible to deliver your order to you in the quickest possible time. Quality of service has been one of the core focus areas of our business and we do everything required to ensure we do not slip on any front.

Our order processing and delivery process is simple and efficient and designed to avoid delays in delivery. Once you have placed your order with us, it is processed at the warehouse within one business day.

Once an order is processed, it is picked up, packed, and dispatched to the address you have provided for delivery. It takes between 3 to 5 business days for your order to reach you; however, this is just an estimate and not an actual concrete delivery timeline for delivery to all locations. Delivery time also depends on the location from where you have booked the order.

There are other external factors as well that are outside the control of ThomWindsor that may affect the delivery time for a product. These factors could possibly include, but are not limited to:

  • Technical glitches
  • Issues arising out of delays at customs
  • Extreme weather conditions

Please note that we do not transport or ship packages on weekends and also local public holidays; so those would also have to be factored in while assessing the possible date of order delivery. Delivery timelines may also be impacted negatively during the season of promotional campaigns and other such activities at ThomWindsor.

The location from where we ship our products depends completely on the destination to which the products are being shipped.

We ship products from our Sweden warehouse for orders meant for:

  • Europe
  • North America
  • South America
  • We ship products from our Hong Kong warehouse for orders meant for:
  • Asia (excluding China)
  • Oceania
  • Middle East
  • Africa
  • Orders for China are shipped from our warehouse in China itself.

RETURN AND EXCHANGE

We have in place a detailed exchange policy that lays out clearly the different aspects taken into consideration when it comes to a product exchange request from a customer.

You can exchange any or all products that have been purchased directly from our website as long as the exchange request is raised within 30 days of delivery of the product to you.

Any product or products that you wish to exchange must be completely unused and in the same state it was delivered to you. It is mandatory that the original packaging is intact, complete with the labels and protective stickers. The product itself must be in the same new and mint condition that it was sent to you in and received by you.

As the term indicates, we accommodate requests for a product exchange only, and not a return, in regular circumstances; a product return is accepted only under extraordinary circumstances.

We accept product exchange requests only given that you pick up another product of the same or lesser value. A product cannot be exchanged for a higher value product. If you wish to exchange your product for a higher value product only then is a product return accepted.

  • You are expected to return the product to us.
  • We offer you a full refund for the same.
  • You are then able to place a new order for a higher value product.

You cannot make a product exchange at your local retail store that showcases our products. Any product that you buy directly on our website must be returned to our warehouse; only then do we allow for an exchange to be made.

Any shipping expense arising out of you returning a product to us for an exchange is to be borne by you. ThomWindsor cover shipping expenses arising out of us shipping the exchanged product back to you.

We are not responsible in any manner whatsoever for any product, order, or item that is lost in the process of returning it back to us for an exchange.

Any product that you wish to return to us, which you have purchased directly on our website, must be returned within 30 days from the date of receipt of product at your delivery address.

Any product that you return to us must be in its original mint condition, i.e. the condition in which it was shipped to you and received by you. The product order must retain all the original labels and protective stickers.

You can return any product you have bought directly on our website only to our warehouse if you are desirous of a full refund. We do not accept, encourage, or allow returns to local retail stores.

Please note: you will likely have to bear any shipping costs whatsoever associated with shipping the product back to us.

We at ThomWindsor are not responsible for the loss or damage of any products or orders while they are being shipped back for a return.

PRODUCT INFO

Yes, all ThomWindsor watches are waterproof. Each watch in our collection has water resistance capabilities to the tune of 3ATM. However, this only means that the watches are resistant to rainfall.

It is our recommendation that you avoid as much as possible contact with water. Make it a point to avoid wearing the watch in the shower while bathing, or while swimming or diving. It is safer to avoid wearing the watch when you are involved in any activity that brings you directly in contact with water.

Please note: our 24-month warranty for the watches does not cover damage caused by exposure to water.

There are two ways of ensuring that the ThomWindsor watch you have bought is authentic:

  • Buy it directly on our website.
  • Buy it from an authorized ThomWindsor retailer.

ThomWindsor watches are also available on third party e-commerce platforms like Groupon, E-Bay, and Amazon. However, we cannot guarantee the authenticity of a ThomWindsor product bought on such a platform. There is the inherent risk of buying a product that is defective, used, or even fake.

ThomWindsor watch wristbands are crafted from leather. This makes it slightly tricky to wash them; our recommendation is that you refrain from washing them using water. There is a possibility of the leather drying up or getting damaged owing to exposure to water.

If you are keen on cleaning your wristband you could try taking it to your local watch store. There would most likely be cleaning products available with them for cleaning up leather goods.

PAYMENTS

We support a range of payment options including:

We have in place a detailed process to ensure our security measures for protecting your payments are top of the line. The process involves numerous verification stages.

Once verification is complete and the order is processed and approved, an amount equivalent to the total value of your order will be debited from your bank account, credit card account, or e-wallet depending on the mode of payment chosen.

We reserve the right to automatically cancel without further notification to the customer the order if we receive no payment on submission of the order post verification and approval.

SECURITY

All your payment information is completely secure with us. Your payment details are handled by our payment service provider <service provider name>. We use industry standard digital security technology like secure socket layer encryption to secure your data and conform to the strictest banking guidelines for payment protection.

All your credit card details are sent to the bank or credit card company directly. There is no provision for third parties, including ThomWindsor, to in any way access your personal and payment details. Only your bank has the required clearance for that.

CURRENCY

The standard currency for transaction at the ThomWindsor website is the US Dollar. That is the currency in which our prices are displayed. The price label for each watch in our collection does not cover taxes and duties that may apply based on your location. These are additional costs that are applied at the time of checkout.

We at ThomWindsor are not responsible in any way for discrepancies in currency values or conversion rates applicable when conducting a transaction on a product on our website. Those are rates applicable as per international law. For any queries concerning this issue please contact your bank or credit card company.

WARRANTY

There are a few things that are not covered by our warranty. These include:

  • Damage or defects caused by loss, theft, exposure to fire or water, or a natural disaster.
  • Damage or defects caused by subjecting the watch to modification or repair that is cosmetic or is unjustified or not a necessity.
  • Damage or defects, caused due to improper use of the product, like:
    • Knocks
    • Dents
    • Crushing
    • Broken Glass or crystal
  • Watches that do not show the ThomWindsor serial number because it is:
    • Missing
    • Erased
    • Altered
    • Replaced
    • Defaced
    • Peeled off because of peeling off of the plating
    • Fabricated falsely
    • Damages, defects, and aesthetical changes occurring due to:
      • Regular wear and tear
      • Aging
    • These include minor scratches on the watch’s surface or case or crystal, alteration or damage to the wristband, peeling off of plating, etc.
  • Battery
  • Wristband
  • Crown
  • Crystal/glass

ThomWindsor watches that are bought on e-commerce platforms like E-Bay, Groupon, or a third party vendor on Amazon that is unauthorized may be defective, used, or fake. Our warranty does not cover any of these products bought from unauthorized vendors.

Please note that you will need to provide original documentation relating to the purchase for us to be able to honor a claim for warranty. We do not process any warranty claims without valid original documentation.

Our warranty is available for a limited period of time only; to be able to replace or repair your watch within this limited period you will also need to bring the original warranty card duly filled in.

If the watch was bought from a licensed ThomWindsor retailer you will need to ensure that the dealer has duly filled in the warranty card accurately.

We at ThomWindsor have set for ourselves a very high standard when it comes to quality of product and service. All our watches and accessories are made according to the high standards we have set for ourselves. In the event that there is minimal slippage on our part from this quality, we have in place a warranty program to safeguard you from any defects arising during manufacturing. The warranty basically covers:

  • Watch movement
  • Indexes
  • Hands
  • Dial

Any other watch parts not listed above are not covered by our warranty program. Should the product be returned during the warranty period we will gladly repair or replace the product or the defective part of the product immediately at no additional cost and within a reasonable time period from the time of return. We would like to inform you that as per our policy the customer is liable to cover any shipping costs arising from returning the product to us for repair or replacement.

Our warranty program is valid for a 24-month period starting from the date of purchase of our product. Any repairs required or carried out post the expiration of warranty will require payment of a service charge.

Any ThomWindsor product bought at a third party e-commerce platform like E-Bay or Groupon, or from an unauthorized vendor on Amazon, comes with the risk of being defective, used, or fake. We do not extend our warranty to cover such products bought from unlicensed or unauthorized vendors.

All warranty claims have to be supported by valid and original documentation provided to you at the time of purchase of the product. We will be able, as per our policy, to initiate a repair or replacement of a product only with valid documentation. If the product was bought from an authorized retailer, please ensure the warranty card has been appropriately filled in by the retailer to enable us to repair or replace it as per your requirements.

We do not entertain or honor repair or replacement requests under the warranty program for products bought from an unauthorized retailer.

REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE

Repairing your watch is simple if you bought it from an authorized ThomWindsor retailer and the watch is covered by warranty. All you need to do is contact the retailer or service provider from whom you bought the watch.

If you bought your ThomWindsor watch directly from our website and it is within the warranty period, please contact us directly for assistance.

If you bought your ThomWindsor watch from a travel retail outlet or from a duty free outlet please contact us directly for assistance in terms of repair. The outlets that come under this category include shops in-flight, at an airport, on a cruise, etc.

Please note that the ThomWindsor warranty program does not cover the following:

  • Damage or defects caused by loss, theft, exposure to fire or water, or a natural disaster.

If you have a promotion code for the ThomWindsor website you can use redeem it while buying any of our products. To use the promotion code:
